This page explains what data Araqs collects when you use the site, why, and who it's shared with.
What we collect
The phone number you provide for sign-in and SMS verification; listing details you enter yourself (the number for sale, operator, type, region, price, description); technical data about your visit (IP address, browser language) and a cookie that remembers your chosen language.
SMS verification
To verify phone ownership we use Twilio Verify: the number you enter is sent to Twilio solely to deliver a one-time code, and isn't used by Araqs for anything else besides sign-in and (when it matches the listed number) the "SMS verified" badge.
Where data is stored
Araqs' database is hosted by Supabase in the EU (Frankfurt). The site itself runs on Vercel's infrastructure. Both are independent technical providers processing data on Araqs' behalf.
Who can see your data
A seller's phone number becomes visible to a buyer only after the buyer taps "Contact" on the listing page. We don't sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or other commercial purposes.
Cookies
The site uses one functional cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) to remember your chosen interface language. There are currently no advertising or analytics cookies on the site.
Your rights
You can ask us to delete your listing or account by contacting us below — we'll remove the relevant data, except where the law requires us to keep it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
